This cemetery dates back to 1850 and was established over a former Indian village and burial ground. The large graveyard contains over 110,000 gravesites including many famous names including beer barons such as Jacob Best and Frederick Pabst of Pabst Brewing Company fame and Joseph Schlitz and August Krug of the Joseph Schlitz Brewing Company. The co-founder of Harley-Davidson, William Davidson is also buried here, along with Christopher Sholes, who invented the first typewriter with the QWERTY key layout. Witnesses have claimed to see visions of coffins and shredded corpses along with eerie and unwell feelings.

Many EVP's

Been going here just to take a listen. Have caught NUMEROUS evp's. Intelligent responses (i.e.- there was a dog & i asked if anyone saw the dog walking thru & i heard a drawn out "yees") & some just words a well.
I heard a foreign word which i cannot interpret a well as a full sentence "Just came to give my condolences."
NEVER would i think i could catch anything. Be careful. Be kind. Don't egg them on. Just go for a walk & don't go in after sunset (police patrol around as it is closed after sundown .)
