Koehring's Grand Central House Restaurant

This hotel dates back to 1892 and now houses a restaurant that is believed to be haunted since it was refurbished. Philip Koehring, the son of the original owner, is believed to be one of the recurring spirits here. He was murdered with a shotfun and dumped on a county road. Witnesses have reported seeing a man wearing an old-fashioned suit in different parts of the building. His presence is usually attributed to disembodied footsteps and a chair that moves on its own in the dining room upstairs. Lights have been known to turn on and off by themselves in the bar area, and glasses have been thrown by unseen hands. The staircase is rumored to be particularly haunted. A story claims a child was terrified after coming across a dark entity hiding in a closet underneath the flight of stairs. Banging is heard coming from the upper floor and from inside the walls. A ghostly cat has also been seen disappearing around corners. The Liberace Piano, which is almost a century old, is housed on this floor, and is known to play phantom music.
