There have been quite a few ghostly encounters at this university, believed to have been brought on when nuns sold the buildings to the school. Students used to call one of the nuns Sister Sixtoes, and she allegedly did not want to give up her home and remained in the chapel until her death. The chapel is believed to be haunted by her spirit along with three of the dorm buildings: Catherine, Augsburg and Coburg. Witnesses have reported things in their dorm rooms to have gone missing and have seen a ghostly outline on the stairs. Lights are known to turn on and off by themselves, as well as other electrical appliance issues.

I live in Regents and my roommates and I get woken up between 3 and 4 every morning. Our doors are frequently opened after being fully closed. Drawers in our rooms will be open and we will hear banging around in our rooms when nobody is in them. We see shadows walking behind us in the mirror when we are in the dorm alone. We also have one roommate who wakes up to figures at the foot of her bed. Our neighboring dorm has already had their room blessed this year.
