Haunted Hustle Marathon

An action-packed two day Halloween weekend event with races & activities for the whole family! The fun weekend starts out Saturday with the all day race expo, packet pick up, and the evening dusk races - including the new 5k route, 5k stroller derby, and 10k! Sunday morning will be where the fall racers put to test all their training with a challenging 1/2 marathon (13.1 miles) and full marathon (26.2 miles) route, ending the weekend with the Summit Credit Union Finish Festival.

Kids’ Race (.25 mile, .50 mile, 1 mile)

Dress up the little ones in their favorite costume for a fun family Halloween event! Kids can pick up their racer bibs and packet at the Race Expo on Saturday before 3pm. Stop by the face painting booth to put the finishing touches on your costume! All kids race participants will receive a t-shirt, racer bib, finisher medal, and post-race snacks. Stick around after the 5K/10K for a bonfire, s’mores, live music & more!

Age Recommendations:

1/4 mile: ages 4 & under

1/2 mile: ages 5 to 8

1 mile: ages 9 to 12

5K / 5K Stroller Derby (3.1 miles)

This route is fast, flat, and wide, allowing for plenty of space for all racers, including our favorite Stroller Derby division! Test your endurance and strength while you race with your family!

10K (6.2 miles)

This is the perfect race to take the next step up from a 5K racing in a motivating and fun atmosphere. We strongly encourage neon, glow in the dark, and costumes for this awesome race!

Half Marathon (13.1 miles)

With lots of bike paths, trails, and changes in scenery – you’ll be surprised how quickly 13.1 miles will be! This route allows for little traffic impact and keeps runners safely on course with minimal road running and course turns. The wide bike paths will allow runners to find their groove and the Pheasant Branch Conservancy will offer soft ground under your feet.

Marathon (26.2 miles)

Madison’s favorite fall Boston Marathon qualifier, this route is surely not one to miss. A couple out & backs and a double loop in sections of the course will be great for toughing out this challenging marathon course. Runners will get plenty of sights through the Pheasant Branch Conservancy and will have fun taking in the full experience of everything the Haunted Hustle has to offer!

Finish Festival

Celebrate your race success and stick around for live music, bonfire, s’mores, beer, & more! KEVA has it all to hang out with family and friends, complete with full concessions available and kids activities.
