WisconsinHauntedHouses.com recently sat down with Derek Clark of House of Shadows, to discuss what's new at House of Shadows for the 2025 Halloween Season!

What's new at House of Shadows for 2025? Do you have any new rides, attractions, or special features that Haunt Seekers should know about?

This year we have added elaborate rooms, more actors, and an even more thrilling adventure. We will also be doing throw back Thursdays on Oct 9th and 23rd to celebrate The Boys and Girls Club 30th year Anniversary.

What differentiates House of Shadows from other local haunts in Wisconsin?

We are a 100% non profit fundraiser that is completely volunteer ran, managed, and operated.

How long has House of Shadows been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about House of Shadows's history?

This is our 28th year for putting on this fundraiser.

How long is a typical haunt experience at House of Shadows from start to finish?

From entrance to the house to exit it is 15 minutes.

Does House of Shadows's property have any real haunted history? Do you have a spooky encounter you'd like to share?

The building we use was once the Infirmary for the Wisconsin child center so yes it is really haunted.

How has new technology (i.e. animatronics, special props, etc) helped you to enhance House of Shadows?

We are always trying to add animations, and electronics to enhance the event.

Can House of Shadows accommodate large groups? How many people can experience House of Shadows together as a group?

We can accommodate large groups, however you will be split into smaller groups to enter the house for a more enjoyable experience.

Anything else you'd like to let us know about House of Shadows?
