The north end of this road becomes a dirt road and stories say that a man hanged himself here, followed by his wife because of all her grief, along with murdering her three children - a boy, girl and baby. It is said that if you drive slow on the dirt road at night, you'll experience the hauntings. A female's apparition wearing a dress with dark hair has been seen along with silhouettes of people running on all fours.

  • To the person who lived there 25 years…

    We have seen and experienced this when we were in high school. I lived on said road right before where the dirt road begins. We were riding on her 4 wheeler one day and saw a thick white mist moving through the trees. That night we were supposed to meet some friends there and something walked right up to us in the middle of the night, on a full moon, we could here the foot steps right in front of us, but could not see anyone. And with the full moon we could see good. We ran back to my house, we could hear a high pitched screaming that whole night, as we slept out side that night. It was scary. There is no doubt in my mind that road is very haunted.

  • Low growl

    Me and my 2 best friends went this past week....we were chick,but parked and walked in the dark...the road is creepy....we heard a low growl like sound in the woods near the road...not like a dog, but lower.

  • Buffalo Ridge Rd was my backyard.

    Its very haunted. I lived there for 25 years. I saw things i couldnt explain. Then May 17, 2019, it all started. I could hear what I thought were live people. I could hear a man and woman. The man's voice was a little muffled but the woman i could hear plain as day. Then i found out that NO they are not real live people. There is a black figure that bothered me every night for 3 months straight. It tapped on my bedroom window and laughed. It opened that same window about 2 inches n it slammed shut. My daughter recorded this with her iPhone. This figure grabbed her phone as she struggled with it for a few seconds yelling "Mom it's got my phone!" I left. I left my things there. I've been gone for 2 years and DO NOT want to go back. Not even to get my things.

    I can't get your vidios to open. Myself and 2 friends own we own 69 acres 2815 buffalo ridge road Looks like it is very haunted We have only spent about 1 hour there and Kathy saw the lady , this was before we new it was haunted
